The Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) has initiated a comprehensive training program to support domestic artificial intelligence (AI) and big data technology startups in their efforts to expand overseas.
Overview of the ‘D.N.A. Track’ Program
On July 4, KOSME announced that its Youth Startup Academy held an orientation for the ‘D.N.A. Track’ technology education program, which is jointly operated with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud (GC).
‘D.N.A. Track’ stands for Data, Network, and Artificial Intelligence. The program offers hands-on, practice-oriented training that covers everything from web services and cloud computing to deep learning development, from basic to advanced levels.
Target Participants and Scale
- Participants: AI and big data technology companies from the 15th cohort of the Youth Startup Academy that are aiming for global expansion
- Number of Companies Selected: 156
- Program Duration: Approximately 7 months
Main Program Components
The training program consists of the following key elements:
- Practical training and mentoring on AI transformation (AX) and deep learning
- Workshops and strategy sessions on entering global markets
- Conferences to facilitate exchanges among global developers
- Online marketing support, including assistance with listing products on Amazon Marketplace
Expert Mentoring and Ongoing Support
During the technical training, experts from Amazon and Google will provide field-oriented mentoring to help companies solve technical challenges encountered during global expansion.
Even after the program concludes, KOSME will continue to offer follow-up support, including:
- Product function and design improvement
- Website development
- Promotional activities
- Participation in exhibitions
- Alumni network building
